Last night 1/7/12, Dan Furman and I did a duo performance at the Sundance Cafe in downtown Stamford.

Look for us again on 1/14/12 (sat. night) from 7:00-10:30pm.   It’s always a good musical time singing with Dan (www.danfurman.com).

Video:  “I’m Sorry. I Really Mean it This Time”

 

The song Sonar Es (should have a tilde over the “n”) was inspired loosely by the poetry of South American poet Pablo Neruda. I composed the song and wrote lyrics.  The song is about creating and keeping your dreams because dreams give you the power to change your life.

Life is Beautiful made it to #1 on KFAI (CMJ issue 1132); #3 M3 Radio (CMJ issue 1128)l #5 on WRCU (CMJ issue 1123); #10 on WQAL (CMJ issue 1130); and #10 on WDPS (CMJ issue 1132)

Several dozen radio stations coast to coast and in Canada have added Life is Beautiful to their playlists. Thank you DJ’s & station managers.

Please save the date! On May 25th, me and my wonderful quartet will play 2 sets of songs from my recent CD of all original music “Life is Beautiful” as well as a few non-standard standards.

This very cool intimate basement club is the only Afro-Peruvian jazz club in NYC. They serve out- of-this-world drinks and food… AMAZING! I had dinner there with a friend to see for myself and we both wanted to try everything on the menu!

There is no cover or minimum, which is really great. Please come join the party. Order a Pisco Sour and relax!
